- Blue Marlins made waves in St. Lucia
The Blue Marlins Swim Club won 56 medals at the recently completed 24th Rodney Heights Aquatic (RHAC) Invitational Swim Meet in St. Lucia.
In a news release dated April 17, the Blue Marlins Swim Club stated that its swimmers had the fourth highest number of medals, with 56.
According to the release, 29 of the medals captured were gold, 18 were silver, and 9 were bronze.
The 24th Rodney Heights Aquatic (RHAC) Invitational Swim Meet took place at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Centre in St. Lucia from April 11th to 14th.
Blue Marlins Swim Club was one of 23 teams that competed in the tournament. With only 11 swimmers out of 340, the team finished seventh with 509 points, according to the statement.
“The team, though small, ended the competition with six of the top individual places, broke the 11-14 mixed medley relay record, and had personal best times in many of their races,” the club noted in a press release.
