The Ministry of Education has issued a statement in which it claims that students and teachers attached to the Canouan Primary School are safe.
The ministry said that officials from BRAGSA visited the school to carry out an assessment and reported back to the ministry of their findings.
Last month photographs were posted on social media, showing Grade Six students being taught outside of the classroom, with at least one parent, Terrance Bynoe, stating that he was not allowing his child to attend school.
