A 14-month-old girl was stabbed in the stomach in a Brooklyn home Tuesday, and police were looking into whether her 9-year-old brother was involved in the violence, police sources said.
Police found the toddler on the bed in the backroom of an apartment on Patchen Ave. at Jefferson Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 5 p.m., cops said. A bloody knife was recovered at the scene, police said.
Medics rushed the baby girl to Bellevue Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Her brother, who’s believed to be autistic, was taken to Kings County Hospital for psychological evaluation, police sources said.
The children’s grandmother was home at the time, sources said. (NY DAILY NEWS)
