The family of the late Jamaican business and tourism mogul, Gordon “Butch” Stewart, has officially resolved the differences that emerged following his passing.
Stewart, the renowned founder of the Sandals & Beaches Group, died on January 4, 2021. Following his death, disputes arose among his family members regarding his estate and legacy.
However, a joint press release issued recently through the Bahamian law firm LennoxPaton announced that these family differences have now been successfully settled.
In the statement, the family expressed their optimism for the future, noting that they “look forward to moving on with their lives”.
Furthermore, the family emphasized their unified commitment to Stewart’s abiding legacy, expressing excitement for the continued development and success of the Sandals & Beaches Group.
