Vincentians will have the opportunity this weekend to feast on National Dishes from the CARICOM Region.
The National Dishes of CARICOM countries will be on sale at an event set for Saturday, April 8, 2017, between the hours of 12 noon and 6 pm at the Roseau Recreational Park.
Dishes includes Ackee and Salt Fish out of Jamaica, Cou-Cou and Flying Fish out of Barbados, Pepperpot from Guyana, Goat Water from Montserrat, Crack Conch with Peas and Rice from the Bahamas, and SVG’s very own Roast Breadfruit and Fried Jackfish.
All dishes will be prepared by top food establishments in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, including Basil’s Bar, Dawn Smith, French Verandah, Clera Providence, Kerlita Fessal and several other renowned food houses.
The event is part of the annual fundraising for Luke’s Kids Club. The proceeds will be used to finance the club summer programme.
