The enhancement of the structure of the programmes, shows, and financing for Vincy Mas, are among the focus of the new Board of the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) for the upcoming year.
The Board is led by Ricardo Adams as Chairman, Ellsworth “Ezzie” Roberts as Deputy Chairman and Coordinator of Rural Carnivals; David Telesford-Financial Comptroller; Anthony Dennie-Shows Coordinator; Lafern Fraser-Beauty Shows Coordinator; Donnie Collins-Marketing Coordinator; John Mason-Technical Advisor; and Ashford Wood-Chief Executive Officer.
Speaking on Thursday, October 6th, 2016 at the CDC Prize giving ceremony, the new CDC Chairman said the Board will seek to be more transparent and accountable.
Mr. Adam’s said another focus of the CDC Board is that of developing the various components of Carnival.
Meanwhile, former CDC Chairman Dennis Ambrose congratulated the new Board and wished the members success in their endeavours.
