Celebration To Mark Indian Arrival Day June 1st 1861

“The SVG Indian Heritage Foundation will stage the 157^th arrival of Indians to SVG June 1^st 1861 at its annual commemoration of Indian Arrival Day on Sunday, June 3^rd, 2018.

The programme for the day will commence with the boarding of a boat with persons at Blue Lagoon at 8.30 a.m. The boat will dock at Indian Bay where persons will leave the boat, line up and be handed their registration certificates with their names.

A ceremony will be held at 9.00 a.m. at which President of the SVG Indian Heritage Foundation, Mr Junior Bacchus will address the gathering.

This re-enactment of the arrival of Indians will be followed by Annual General Meeting and Brunch at the Murray’s Heights Hotel.
