A ceremonial signing will take place between the Government and Marriott regarding the construction of a hotel/resort on the Leeward side of the St. Vincent.
Recently Hon Camilo Gonsalves said Marriott officials expressed their joy at being the first luxury-branded hotel on mainland St Vincent, and stated that they have been looking for an opportunity to expanded within the region.
St Vincent and the Grenadines will add over 1100 rooms which will double its room stock, with the construction of a number of new hotels including the Marriott branded hotel.
The event will take place on Tuesday, Sept 10, 2019 at the Private Mt. Wynne site – beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Enrique Norten, a Mexican architect and principal of the design firm TEN Arquitectos has been contracted and will do final designs for Marriott hotel.
