Charges brought against former model Yugge Farrell was today Monday 17th dismissed in the Kingstown Magistrate court.
Yugge Farrell was charged that on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Granby Street, Kingstown, she did cause a breach of the peace by using abusive language to Karen Duncan- Gonsalves of Prospect, which was “You dirty b**ch.”
Duncan-Gonsalves, a lawyer attached to the Attorney General’s chambers.
Farrell pleaded not guilty to the charges earlier this year.
In court on Monday lawyers for Farrell argued that there was no disclosure in the matter, this the lawyers noted leaves a gaping hole for the prosecution to prosecute their client again.
Corlene Samuel who represented the prosecution told the court the prosecution was withdrawing the charge against Farrell.
