FISHERMAN CHARGE FOR ILLEGAL VENDING IN ST VINCENT (SVG)
On January 23, 2024, police arrested and charged Erron Lavia, a 26-year-old Fisherman of Clare Valley for engaging in commercial activity by selling fish in contravention of the Kingstown and Country Planning Zoned Area Declaration of the Kingstown Order.
The offence was allegedly committed on Wednesday 17th January 2024 about 9:30 a.m. in Kingstown.
Lavia was granted station bail. He appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on Wednesday 24th January 2024 and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The court ordered the continuance of the accused bail condition and the matter was adjourned to March 18th, 2024 for trial.
