Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, has said that climate change is contributing significantly to the National debt.
Dr. Gonsalves made the point, during a news conference on Monday – as he gave a report on his travel to New York – to attend the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Speaking to the media, the PM noted that a Coordinated approach is needed, to secure funds required, to tackle climate change.
He also told reporters discussions he had with a number of countries were successful.
