Balancing a demanding career with rigorous academic pursuits, Corporal Romancia Jordon #599 has demonstrated exceptional dedication by earning a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from Monroe University. On April 17th, 2026, she completed the master’s degree with a remarkable 3.96 GPA, all while maintaining her full caseload at the Sexual Offences Unit of the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.

This recent academic milestone, which she formally celebrated at a graduation ceremony on June 11th, 2026, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, builds upon her perfect 4.0 GPA Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Ashworth College. Together, these degrees form a solid foundation for a long-term, serious career in investigation.

For Cpl Jordon, forensic psychology is not just an abstract field of study; it is a practical discipline that sharpens her ability to listen to survivors, analyze what is said and withheld, and build robust cases for the courtroom. Her daily work requires immense presence and judgment, dealing with individuals at their most vulnerable, and her ability to excel academically without letting her professional duties falter speaks volumes about her character.

Her expertise was further recognized on an international scale when she was selected as a 2026 Global Data Fellow with Childlight, an institute focused on advancing child safety through research and evidence-based methods. This fellowship took her to the University of Edinburgh in early March 2026, where she collaborated with global researchers and practitioners. She returned with a Certificate of Contribution and, more crucially, new frameworks and evidence-based methods to enhance the Force’s capabilities.

Reflecting on her journey, Cpl Jordon credits her success first to God, as well as the unwavering belief of her family, friends, mentors, and colleagues. She also expressed gratitude for the backing of the Commissioner of Police, the Police Force, and the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, whose tuition scholarship made her studies financially possible.

Cpl Jordon brings back much more than a set of degrees to her unit. She is an officer uniquely equipped to handle the growing complexity of sexual offences and crimes against children, possessing a depth of training rarely concentrated in a single officer within a small Force. The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force has publicly recognized her accomplishments as a testament to her sustained service and discipline, looking forward to the significant contributions she will continue to make to the Force and the country at large
