Could Valentines Day see the Love Affair With AIA Come Through?

1 Min Read

With numerous complaints about Liat and its shabby treatment to Vincentians, especially on the Barbados leg of their journey, the opening of the Argyle International Airport will be a welcoming relief.

An Airport Official speaking to News784 under conditions of anonymity said that the Cuban workers on the project left for their Christmas vacation.

The Official also told News784 that about 4-5 would return to help with minor works remaining.

Meanwhile, a Government source has indicated to News784  that the dream of flying directly to the Eastern Seaboard of the United States and elsewhere is close at hand.

The source said: “Could February 14, 2017, be more than Valentine’s Day to Vincentians who are awaiting the opening of the AIA?

“There will be a lot of skepticism on this one when you publish such”, the source told News784, “but one thing is certain roses will bloom on that day and love will be in the air”.

Vincentians would remember December 2015 when a number of aircraft landed at Argyle in an attempt test the various components of the project.
