Cuban residents in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Cuban collaborators serving in different fields came together for a sports day dedicated to fostering fellowship and strengthening ties within the Cuban community in this Caribbean country.
The gathering brought together participants of different ages in an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie, with activities including baseball, football, and tennis. The event was conceived as an opportunity for healthy recreation and interaction among members of the Cuban community.
Children, teenagers, and young people played a particularly active role in the sporting activities, bringing enthusiasm and joy to the gathering. Their participation also helped create a space for interaction between the younger generations and adults within the Cuban community.
Beyond sports, the event provided an opportunity to share, strengthen relationships, and preserve bonds of identity and solidarity.
The initiative reaffirmed the value of sport as a means of promoting coexistence, unity, and fellowship, while offering Cuban families an opportunity to enjoy recreational activities in an atmosphere defined by friendship and community spirit.
