The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, will pay a visit to Grenada from December 7 to 8, 2022.
President Daz-Canel will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprised of several Ministers responsible for foreign affairs, health, science and technology, foreign investment, and economic cooperation.
Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell welcomes the visit, which will strengthen the Republic of Cuba’s long-standing relationship with Grenada and provide an opportunity to explore new areas of cooperation.
The two-day visit will include bilateral and other strategic meetings, interactions with Cuban nationals in Grenada, and a visit to the Cuban Monument.
This year, 2022, marks 43 years since Grenada and the Republic of Cuba established diplomatic relations.
