The CWSA is reporting that, as a result of the current dry spell, it is experiencing significant reductions in river flows at ALL of its major water intakes.

The worst affected source to date is the Montreal source which is now operating at 60% capacity.

As a result of this situation, water supply to the following areas will be disrupted between the hours of 9pm to 5am daily until further notice:

Hopewell, Simon, Glenside, Jackson’s Pasture, Sayers, Carierre, Collins, Evesham Vale, Ginger Village, La Croix, Yambou and Peruvian Vale.

The CWSA regrets the inconvenience these disruptions may cause.

The CWSA is also asking the general public to assist the Authority in reporting roadside leaks through its emergency line at 4571445 or its Facebook page’s inbox and also to avoid wastage especially at public institutions and schools.
