Delta Air Lines is significantly strengthening its service to the in-demand Caribbean destination of Aruba for the upcoming 2026-2027 winter season.
Beginning on December 19, 2026, the carrier will introduce a brand-new seasonal route connecting Detroit and Queen Beatrix International Airport in Oranjestad, Aruba. This marks the first time Delta has ever linked Detroit to the Caribbean island. The new flights will operate weekly on Saturdays and are scheduled to run through April 11, 2027.
In addition to the new Midwest connection, Delta is ramping up its existing services to Aruba during the same December to April timeframe. The airline will add a second daily flight originating from Boston. Furthermore, Delta is shifting its connection from Minneapolis/St. Paul to operate exclusively on Saturdays.
According to Delta officials, these network adjustments are designed to provide customers with greater flexibility and better align with passenger preferences for winter travel.
The expanded winter schedule will complement Delta’s year-round service to Aruba, which currently includes flights out of New York-JFK and Atlanta
