STUDENTS JOINTLY CHARGED WITH ROBBERY AND ASSAULT
On September 14, 2026, police arrested and jointly charged Junior Duncan, 17; a 14-year-old student; and Jadon Antoine, 17, all students of Diamond, with two counts of robbery and one count of assault.
According to investigations, the accused students, while allegedly armed with a gun, robbed a 17-year-old student of Carapan of one (1) red iPhone valued at $1,000.00 ECC, one (1) dark blue iPhone valued at $1,200.00 ECC, and one (1) dark-coloured iPhone Mini valued at $1,000.00 ECC, with a total value of $3,200.00 ECC.
They were also charged with allegedly robbing another 17-year-old student of $60.00 ECC in cash while armed with a gun.
Lastly, the trio were further charged with allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old student of Carapan by striking him with a gun, causing actual bodily harm.
The offences were committed in Diamond and Brighton, respectively, on September 9, 2026.The defendants appeared before the Calliaqua Magistrate Court on September 15, 2026.
Due to the indictable nature of the offences, they were not allowed to plead. They were each granted bail in the sum of $15,000.00 ECC with one surety. The matters were adjourned to September 22, 2026.
