POLICE INVESTIGATE ROAD ACCIDENT ON LA CROIX PUBLIC ROAD
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is investigating an accident that occurred on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, along La Croix public road.
Preliminary investigations indicate that at approximately 2:26 p.m., an omnibus driven by Garvin Brown, a 59-year-old chauffeur of Greiggs, was travelling along the said public road, going in the direction of the Mesopotamia Police Station, when it went over an embankment.
The driver, conductor, and all passengers sustained injuries. Most of the injured persons were treated at the Levi Latham Health Centre and subsequently discharged. The driver and three of the passengers are currently at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where they are receiving further treatment.
The bus was extensively damaged. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are ongoing.
