- CWSA ANNOUNCES NIGHTLY WATER RATIONING IN SVG
The Central Water and Sewage Authority (CWSA) has declared that certain areas receiving water from the Montreal Water System would have interruptions in their water supply, while the drought conditions persist in St. Vincent (SVG).
In a Facebook post, the CWSA stated that starting on Tuesday, April 2, “nightly water rationing has become necessary as the dry season continues” for locations served by the Montreal Water System. The water outages occur between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.”
Disruptions may happen before or after the designated period amid the current drought circumstances, according to the CWSA. Due to unforeseen shifts in demand and a persistent decline in river flow, it might last longer.
