ECCB celebrates staff dedication, excellence at annual gala

ECCB Celebrates Team Excellence, Milestones at 2025 Gala and Awards

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) paid tribute to the dedication, achievements, and team spirit of its staff at the 2025 Gala and Awards, held on 6 December at the St Kitts Marriott Resort.  

The ceremony highlighted the commitment and service of 31 staff members who reached milestones from five to 35 years.

Andrea-Gilbert-Bullen was specially recognised for an exceptional 30 years of unbroken service to the Bank, this prestigious award was presented by Governor General of Saint Christopher and Nevis, Her Excellency Dame Marcella Liburd GCMG, JP.  

This year’s S.T.A.R. Awards, which honour individuals who consistently embody the Bank’s mantra of Service Excellence, Teamwork, Truth Telling, Accountability and Results, were presented to 12 outstanding staff members.

The Advisory Services in the Governor’s Office, emerged as the recipient of the 2025 Department S.T.A.R. Award, distinguishing itself among the nominees, for its exemplary performance and teamwork.

The ECCB Spirit Award reserved for those who best reflect the energy, values, and community spirit of the institution was presented to four individuals whose contributions enhanced the Bank’s culture and outreach.

Additionally, the Impact Award was presented to the Anti-Money Laundering Supervisory Unit in the Financial Sector Supervision Department, the Project BOOST Banking Team and  Kieran St Omer.

The Impact Award recognises staff members or teams who have developed, revised or implemented a system, tool, process, initiative or programme within their departments or across the Bank, which has had a positive impact.

Four staff received the coveted Governor’s Award:

  1. Raquel Leonce – In recognition of unwavering commitment and exemplary service
  2. Devon Rawlins – In recognition of professionalism and outstanding service
  3. Jevon Wilkins -In recognition of availability, responsiveness and problem solving skills
  4. Wayne Myers – In recognition of outstanding dedication and service

The evening served as a celebration of service excellence, and the Bank’s enduring commitment to fostering a supportive and high-performing workplace.
