St Vincent and the Grenadines may very well have reached its 34th homicide following the death of an Edinboro man today.
News784 was informed that Christopher Wilson who was struck in the forehead with a piece of steel on September 22nd, 2017, died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
18-year-old Osbert Rodney from the community of Edinboro was arrested and charged by law enforcement officers for the offence of attempted murder upon Christopher Wilson back in September.
Rodney is said to have armed himself with a piece of steel and inflicted a blow to the forehead of Wilson which resulted in severe injury.
When Rodney was taken to court, Senior Prosecutor Adolphus Delpesche objected to his bail and informed the Court that his reason for doing so was because Wilson was warded at the Male Surgical Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital in a semi-conscious state and was continuously monitored by doctors.
Wilson at the time of his death on October 8th, 2017, was a patient at the Intensive Care Unit.
