Following the departure of Vakeesha John, the young democrats arm of the opposition New Democratic Party in St. Vincent has a new president in Esteban Richard-Hernández.
“He will be the president following the resignation of the previous president, the entire executive has pledged themselves to continuing the work and be a part of developing the New Democratic Party, especially as it pertains to reaching out and serving the young people of this country,” the opposition leader stated.
“This is a goal we are very dedicated to, and I gave the executive members that assurance, and we will continue to do so.”
Vakeesha John resigned on May 29.
