The residents of Fancy the northernmost village on mainland St Vincent had double celebrations for National Heroes Day.
On 13th March 2018, the residents celebrated the opening of the Fancy Village cottage road.
The New Fancy Cottage Road now brings Garbage Collection and Public Transportation to the gates of the residents.
The road was financed by BNTF and built by the Construction Company Bally & Bally Investments at a cost of approximately E.C $1.25M.
The opening ceremony was addressed by members of the community, and area representative.
The featured speaker at this event was Prime Minister, Dr Hon. Ralph E. Gonsalves.
