A dynamic 4-day programme on the introduction to Climate Smart Dry Land Farming Agricultural Practices for Youth Groups in St. Vincent and the Grenadines commenced at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown .
This partnership programme between the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations and the Ministry of Agriculture aims to provide young farmers with the knowledge and skills required for sustainable agriculture. Dr. Gaius Eudoxie, Dr. Ronald Roopnarine, and Dr. Oral Daley will lead the seminars, bringing their knowledge to the forefront to inspire and educate over 100 attendees.
This immersive course will delve into the world of climate-resilient farming on dry ground, providing learners with essential skills in disaster risk management and sustainable agricultural practices.
