(i)Delano Peters, 23yrs, Farmer of Diamonds Village was arrested and charged with having in his possession “713 grammes of cannabis”, with intent to supply it to another at Cedars on 20.10.17.
(ii)Andrew John, 57yrs, unemployed of Georgetown, was arrested and charged for having in his possession “236 grammes of cannabis”, with intent to supply it to another at Arygle on 20.10.17.
(3) The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning of Denzil Loraine, 49yrs, unemployed of Owia, which occurred at Owia on 21.10.17.
Reports are that Loraine went bathing when he encountered difficulties in the water. The body has not been recovered.
