Caesar said in the meantime; discussions have started with Winfresh to utilise the vessels which come to port Kingstown including ( GeestLine) going to the UK  and also to work with some of the warehouse facilities in the United Kingdom managed by Winfresh for the creation of storage capacity.

“ We have had the opportunity over the past six months to work with a Trinidadian company, and held a meeting three weeks ago; today am happy to welcome Bonnie Trading to SVG.”

The Minister said the company have been trading for a very long time and has a track record of moving commodities within the region and outside of the area as well.

“ it is imperative as we move forward as a country, as a sub-region and as a regional agricultural sector that we have all relevant facets organised”.

Caesar said this includes the production platforms to produce the quality, quantity and varieties needed for the market.

He said the farmers would have to be tooled and re- tooled in some instances.
