The Ministry of Education, in association with Hodder Education, has announced the finalists in the National Primary Schools Math Quiz.

The finals will be held on Wednesday May 15 at Girl Guides Headquarters, commencing at 1:00 p.m. Participants in the finals are expected to arrive by 12:30.
The preliminary round of the quiz took place from Tuesday April 23 to 30 at various venues across the country.
According to a release from the Ministry of Education, the competition targets
students of grade 5, giving them the opportunity to showcase their capabilities
in Math and to develop a love for the subject.
Local representative of Hodder Education, Byron Wilson, says that the company shares the Ministry’s vision of fostering positive attitudes in the teaching and learning of math.
