The Peters Hope area is on the verge of becoming a central hub for economic growth and development in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Not only will it become a major strip in Hospitality with hotels and ancillary services, but it is growing as well as a residential center with many exciting developments in the short term.
Finance Minister Camilo Gonsalves said the Black Sands Resort currently employes over a hundred and thirty-five people in construction.
He said the Bank of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines confirmed that there is a plan in place to use two acres of land to build a Financial services center in Peters Hope.
Gonsalves said there will be a NIS office, ATMs and other facilities for banking services and most importantly a police station at the location.
The government will donate the land and the bank of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will build the facility.
