Fisherman Charged with Assault causing Actual Bodily Harm and Theft
On December 30, 2025, police arrested and charged Coliaridge Young, a 49-year-old fisherman of Questelles, with the offences of assault causing actual bodily harm and theft.
According to police investigations, the accused is alleged to have assaulted a 43-year-old resident of Georgetown by striking her about her body with a piece of wood, causing actual bodily harm. He was also charged with stealing $1,500.00 ECC in cash, the property of the said 43-year-old resident of Georgetown.
The offences were committed in Arnos Vale on October 30, 2025. Young is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.
