News784 have received information that a fisherman who operates out of Rose Place (Bottom town) and goes by the alias “Bushman”, is missing.
According to reports received by this online media, he was last seen around 4 pm on Saturday 2nd June 2018, in the area of the cruise ship berth, where according to friends he goes fishing.
News784 was also told that the fisherman suffers from seizures and friends believe he may have had an attack on Saturday, while on his fishing boat, which may have led to him falling overboard.
We were informed that the Coast Guard seen was making several rounds in the general area of the cruise ship berth where “Bushman” was last seen.
Checks with the Coast Guard to ascertain more information proved futile.
News784 was told that such information can only be disseminated by the Coast Guard Commander, who would return to duty on Monday morning.
