As unstable conditions continue to affect the island, the met office in its midday weather report says a generally cloudy and breezy afternoon would persist , with occasional light to moderate showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.
A Flash-Flood watch has been extended until 6 pm Monday 23rd,2019 ; persons living near rivers and streams; areas prone to land-slippage and land-slides should exercise caution.
Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
