News784 understands that former Prime Minister Sir James Mitchell has fallen ill.
Sources also told News784 that the illness is not associated with COVID-19, and Sir James was Hospitalized at the Port Elizabeth Hospital before being rushed via Coast Guard to the mainland.
At the time of publication, the Coast Guard was entering Port Kingstown.
The former Prime Minister lives on the Northern Grenadine island of Bequia.
