The Embassy of France to the O.E.C.S. The warm letter you sent me following my election to the Presidency of the French Republic has particularly affected me and I would like to thank you very much.
Believe me that I rejoice to be able to count on your esteem and kind message, I appreciate the new interest which expresses itself in the eyes of France, they are all valuable supports which reinforce my determination.
I will deploy all my energies so that France will raise with its partners the great challenges of the planet afire to bring a new hope, that of a more secure world, which guarantees more growth and justice.
Be convinced of my desire to continue to deepen our cooperation in a spirit of trust, friendship and mutual respect.
I know you can count my active support to move forward along this path. Please accept, Mr Prime Minister, the assurance of my highest consideration.
