Police have arrested and charged Leon Samuel, 75 year old Labourer of Montague, Georgetown for the offence of Assault causing Actual Bodily Harm and attempted rape.
According to investigations, Leon Samuel allegedly (i) assaulted an 80 years old retired teacher by boxing her about her face, chest and hands, causing actual bodily harm.
(ii) For intent to commit the offence of rape on the virtual complainant did an act which is more than merely preparatory to the commission of the offence at Montague, Georgetown.
The incident according to police report occurred at 6:10pm on 1st November 2018.
