Gonsalves Sworn In As St Vincent's PM For A Fifth Term

The leader of the ruling Unity Labour Party (ULP) Hon Dr Ralph Gonsalves has been sworn in as prime minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines for a 5th straight term.

Gonsalves, who won an unprecedented fifth consecutive term , was sworn in at Government House on Saturday 7th November 2020.

Gonsalves ULP won 9 of the 15 parliamentary seats in the elections of 5th November 2020.

The elected representative for North Windward Hon Montgomery Daniel was sworn in a Deputy Prime Minister, Jaundy Martin also took the oath of Attorney General.

The opposition has not conceded to defeat as yet.
