On Tuesday morning, the day immediately following the fire at Questelles primary school, former Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves visited the site.
Gonsalves met with several state officials and the Minister of Education, Hon. Phillip Jackson .
During the visit, Gonsalves shared his recommendations to ensure the academic environment is restored quickly.
He said the primary goal should be to facilitate the immediate return of nearly one hundred displaced students to their studies.
Gonsalves was seen earlier on Tuesday in Calliaqua speaking and exchanging smiles with Bert Francois the NDP radio host.
