Investors who operate call centres in Grenada and Dominica are currently holding discussions with the government in hopes of setting up operations here.
Officials from the Ministry Of Education, the Labour Department, Police Force and students of the SVG community College are holding talks with the investors also.
Gonsalves speaking on WEFM Wednesday morning said, the group is serious about doing business in SVG and background checks have shown that the investor’s way of functioning in other islands are of a good nature.
Gonsalves, the setting up of a call centre will help reduce the rate in this country. Operations are expected to start sometime later this year on a small scale.
