Grenada Tourism Authority Attends ILTM Cannes, Advancing 2026 Tourism Strategy
The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) attended the recently concluded International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Cannes, held from December 1–4, 2025, marking the tri-island state’s first showcase at the world’s most influential luxury travel marketplace.
ILTM Cannes brings together the highest caliber of luxury travel professionals globally, including curated and rigorously vetted buyers who specialize in Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and High Net Worth (HNW) clientele. These advisors represent private client portfolios that include family offices, private aviation travellers, high-end wellness travellers and elite experiential seekers. The event also attracts leading global media such as AFAR, Condé Nast Traveller, Travel + Leisure, Robb Report, Forbes Travel Guide, and Luxury Travel Magazine, making it the premier platform for global luxury visibility.
CEO Stacey Liburd and Chief Marketing Officer Tornia Charles represented the destination, participating in pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings, educational sessions, and high-level networking engagements alongside some of the world’s most prominent luxury destinations, including Turks and Caicos, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Bermuda.
Grenada’s growing collection of luxury accommodations, including Calivigny Island, Silversands Grenada, Six Senses La Sagesse, Spice Island Beach Resort, Mount Cinnamon and Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel featured prominently in conversations with advisors seeking new, boutique, authentic destinations for their UHNW and HNW clients.
“Our attendance at ILTM Cannes marks a defining moment in Grenada’s evolution as a luxury destination,” said Stacey Liburd, Chief Executive Officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority. “We engaged with advisors who serve some of the world’s most discerning travellers who value exclusivity, sustainability, authenticity and meaningful connection. These are not simply luxury buyers; they are tastemakers shaping global travel flows. ILTM provided Grenada with a powerful platform to establish our place within the upper tier of the luxury travel landscape as we activate our 2026 strategy.”
Throughout the event, the GTA showcased the destination’s natural appeal, its untouched landscapes, intimate boutique resorts, marine and wellness offerings and the immersive cultural experiences found across Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
The Grenada Tourism Authority now enters 2026 with strengthened relationships, expanded global visibility and a clear pathway for deepening Grenada’s presence within the premium and ultra-luxury travel segments.
