Grenada: Police investigate stabbing, apparent suicide

Police are looking into a stabbing and an apparent suicide in St. John.

Today, January 2, 2024, at around 11:00 a.m., officers from the Western Division responded to a complaint of a stabbed female in Marigot, St. John. When they arrived, they saw an unresponsive male on the ground. There were no evident signs of injuries on his body.

The man was later certified dead by a doctor. A postmortem examination will be performed to ascertain the cause of death.

The female has been admitted to the General Hospital for treatment. She is in good health.

The police inquiry is still ongoing.
