- Minor arrested in Guyanese drug bust
According to Guyana police, a 17-year-old boy was among five persons arrested after a narcotics and guns bust in Berbice, Guyana, on Wednesday.
Police said they raided the property after receiving information about a stash of illegal materials being stored in New Amsterdam.
An unauthorised 12 gauge shotgun, 125 rounds of 12 gauge cartridges, 19 rounds of.32 ammo, and 49 rounds of Geco ammunition were recovered by police.30ml carbine ammunition, 41 9mm rounds, and GYD$58,000.
During the operation, police also recovered 98 pounds of marijuana.
