1 Min Read

Opposition Member of Parliament David Patterson was prevented from boarding a flight to the United States to attend meetings with the Members of Congress.

The Guyana Police Force had placed his name on an immigration department “watchlist” during an ongoing investigation by the Police into an accusation of indecent exposure.

However, the Guyana Police Force has apologized to Mr. Patterson for “inadvertently” keeping his name on the watchlist and has removed his name from the list.
