IMA Grenada Celebrates Students at Third Annual Back-to-School Trivia Prize Giving
The Investment Migration Agency (IMA) Grenada hosted its third annual Back-to-School Trivia Prize-Giving Ceremony, recognizing eight student winners from the primary school level through to university.
The initiative ran from July to August, testing participants on local history, culture, national development and IMA Grenada’s strategic programmes.
Designed to keep students engaged during the school break while offering meaningful support to families preparing for the new academic year, the competition forms part of IMA Grenada’s continued commitment to youth development, education and community impact.
This year’s eight winners each received an EC$500 gift voucher redeemable at stores offering essential school supplies. One student also received the grand prize of a brand-new Samsung tablet, enabling practical support for research, assignments and learning beyond the classroom.
“The idea behind this initiative was simple but meaningful, we sought to keep students engaged during the summer in a way that was both educational and rewarding,” said Ms. Karline Purcell, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of IMA Grenada. “By encouraging students to research, think critically and learn more about Grenada’s history, culture and development, we are helping to nurture curiosity, confidence and national awareness. The prize vouchers also recognize the very real cost of preparing for a new school year and allows IMA Grenada to provide support that is both timely and useful to families.”
The Back-to-School Trivia initiative reflects IMA Grenada’s belief that investing in young people is investing in the country’s future.
