An investigation has been launched into the death of 20-year-old Dalson Laborde of Petit Bordel.
About 7:40 a.m. today, the Chateaubelair Police Station received a call about a dead body floating on the waters at Fitz Hughes. The body was retrieved by residents of the community.
A post mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.

News784 have received reports that a body of a human was spotted floating off chateaubelair by fishermen this morning.
Police in Chateaubelair confirmed the report made to News 784,and also indicated that police are currently working to retrieve the body.
