According to company officials, Island Routes will expand to St. Vincent and the Grenadines in 2024, offering 29 private adventure and cultural experiences.
With 32 islands and cays, nine of which are inhabited, St. Vincent and the Grenadines offer a diverse flora and fauna, including white- and black-sand beaches, protected coves, and volcanic mountains, making it a must-see destination, according to Island Routes’ head of global sales, David Black.
“This expansion is not just a new destination in our quiver,” said Black, “but an opportunity for our travel advisor partners to immerse their clients in the heart of the Caribbean and create immersive moments that resonate with the true spirit of travel.”
Island Routes’ St. Vincent and Grenadines experiences include a “Montreal Gardens & Botanical Gardens Experience,” which includes a tour of the region’s oldest botanical garden and a scenic drive through Kingstown.
“Whale and Dolphin Watching Experience” involves exploring the archipelago’s leeward shoreline while spotting pilot, humpback, and sperm whales. The tour concludes with a boat along Mt. Wynne’s black-sand beach, where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed.
The five-hour “Mustique & Bequia Island Hopping Experience” begins with snorkelling at Petit Nevis and continues to Mustique, where Island Routes guides explain the island’s history and famous homes.
After an intense snorkelling adventure at Britannia Bay, guests can visit Bequia for lunch at Princess Margaret’s Beach.
