Police have arrested and charged Iso Lynch, a 36-year old Contractor of Layou with three (3) counts of the offence of Deception.
Lynch allegedly dishonestly obtained $250.00ECC in cash from a 61-year-old Contractor of Belair at Richmond Hill about 11:35 am on 23rd January 2019.
Lynch also allegedly dishonestly obtained the sum of $800.00ECC in cash about 5:00 pm on 18th December 2016 and the sum of $2,400.00ECC in cash about 3:00 pm on 29th December 2016 from a 48-year old Business-man of Mt. Bentick, Georgetown.
Lynch was also arrested and charged with allegedly being the driver of motor vehicle PA-240 did use the said motor vehicle without there being enforce a Policy of Insurance in respect of Third Party Risk in respect of the said motor vehicle (2) For being the driver of motor vehicle PA-240 did drive the said motor vehicle without being the holder of a driving permit (3) For being the driver of PA-240 did drive the said vehicle in a manner dangerous to the public along the Park Hill Public Road about 4:00pm on 23rd January 2019.
Police are investigating a report of Impersonation reported by a 36-year old Business-man of Yambou against Iso Lynch.
According to preliminary investigations, Lynch allegedly for with intent to defraud the 36 years old Businessman, falsely presented himself as Inspector Allen, a Police Officer of the Royal St.Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force who is fictitious, at Bentick Square, Rose Place about 2:45 pm on 24th January 2019.
The Police are advising members of the public to be aware of persons who appear to be conducting genuine business activities but is impersonating the police.
Mr. Iso Lynch is one such person who has been convicted on numerous occasions for deception and impersonating police officers in the past.
