St Vincent’s Prime Minister, Ralph Gonsalves, says Israel is continuing to carry out genocide in Gaza. Gonsalves, speaking on state radio on Wednesday, said it’s like they want to remove or kill the entire Palestinian population in Gaza.
After an Israel airstrike on Monday night killed seven workers, World Central Kitchen has yet to decide when it will resume its humanitarian operations in Gaza.
“During the struggle, the Kalinago and Garifuna fought against British colonialism here.” Their purpose was to kill or get rid of all the Kalinago and Garifuna, and when they couldn’t get it at all, they put the rest in an inhospitable little corner of Saint Vincent. That is the same thing Israel is wanting to do.”
“Gonsalves stated that as long as the United States of America maintains its unwavering support for Israel, it will continue to do so.” Never mind President Biden and Vice President Harris little criticism here and there. They are doing that to see if they can pull back the young people who vote against them because of their soft attitude towards Israel in relation to what’s happening in Gaza and because of certain states where they have a significant number of Arabs, like Michigan. All that is just political posturing.”
Gonsalves says Netanyahu knows, and that is why he’s carrying out a bombing in Gaza.
“The Americans have said there are no red lines for them. In other words, listen to me; Netanyahu knows it. We have a political thing because we have an election coming up on the first Tuesday in November. You gotta give me a little space there, but go ahead and do it; that’s how Netanyahu is reading it. And that is how any sensible person will read it,” Gonsalves said.
According to a US official, the Biden administration has demanded that the military alter the way it transmits information about the locations of aid workers in private conversations with the Israeli Defence Forces and Israeli government members.
WCK founder José Andrés accused Israel of systematically targeting the aid convoy.
