- One dead, several injured after truck goes over precipice in Westmoreland
At least one person is dead and several others hospitalised after a truck transporting market vendors and their goods plunged over a precipice in Darliston, Westmoreland on Friday morning.
The incident happened shortly after 5 am.
Observer Online reported Detective Superintendent of Police Dean Watson as saying, “Seven persons have been taken to the hospital. They are undergoing treatment at this moment”.
