JetBlue flight takes off after 20-hour delay at AIA

Reports reaching St Vincent Times are that JetBlue flight 1640, which was bound for JFK on Sunday evening, was delayed by over 20 hours at St Vincent Argyle International Airport.

According to sources, passengers were placed in accommodations overnight a short distance from the airport.

JetBlue’s desk at AIA did not comment on the matter, nor did the management of the airport.

The flight left Argyle Airport at 11.41 on Monday morning, currently en route to JFK with an expected arrival time of 4.18 p.m.

The aircraft being used on the route is an Airbus A320-232. This is a developing story, and we have reached out to JetBlue for more information.
