It may appear that Speaker of the House and ULP caretaker for South Leeward Jomo Thomas who apparently holds differing views on certain matters pertaining to SVG political landscape is causing some uneasiness among ULP supporters.
Thomas has been know over the years for his frank position on political matters.
Speaking on Tuesday night. General Secretary of the party Senator Julian Francis addressing a callers concern about Thomas differences of opinions said that “ Jomo is a big man“.
“No individual within the party is better than the party”.
Francis noted that the party hold meetings from time to time, to discuss matters affecting the organization.
“We have shouting matches sometimes, but when we leave we have one voice”.
Francis said there are people in the past who tried to destroy the party but they were eliminated by the voting process.
“That’s all am going to say about Jomo Thomas”, Francis stated.
